The concept was developed by Coach House Consulting to enhance Northeast Ohio's customer awareness of and access to local high-quality meats.
With the current status of employment due to the pandemic, graduates are entering a more difficult environment to gain employment. Therefore, there is a need for an intern program to better prepare graduates for employment opportunities by providing business experience and developing job acquisition skills.
The intern positions will comprise a team focused on implementing an improved online presence for Northeast Ohio butchers.
The overall goal of the Butcher Marketplace concept is to provide students the tools they need to gain employment while supporting the butchers that keep our region’s farms in business and enhancing Northeast Ohio’s awareness of and access to local, high-quality meats.
